To and around Chiang Mai, Thailand
We took the night train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. The train was wonderful and we were more than comfortable in our adjointing "rooms".
Campbell had purchased some kind of juggling/swinging balls and kept us entertained in the train.
The markets in Chiang Mai were great. I could have spent hours just wandering through the flower market. It went on for blocks and was just full of colour.
We walked across this pedestrian bridge several times from our guesthouse to the old city of Chiang Mai. There was always something different going on on the river when we crossed.

One of the many wats (temples) in Chiang Mai.
Inside one of the wats.
Cambell and our tuk-tuk driver having a meaningful conversation. I don't think the driver spoke a whole lot of English apart from "Where you want to go? I take you there cheap, cheap."
