Comfy and cozy in Kamloops

After a night of rain in Jasper, we drove to Kamloops to stay the night with our friends, Ron and Gemma. What a wonderful evening. We all had long, hot showers, then did our laundry (which smelled like campfire) and then we were treated to a gourmet meal and great conversation. Gemma's sister, Therese (sorry if I misspelled) joined us as well. For the first time since we left home the kids were able to disappear and do their own thing while the adults had a beverage or two and chatted the evening away. Ron and Gemma were superb hosts and made us feel so welcome even though we descended on them just a few days before they were off on a European vacation. I hope you had a fabulous time in France and Spain. We were having such a great time that I didn't even take photos. I guess we will just have to go back to visit one day so I can get the group photo I missed this time around.
