The thriving metropolis of Ryolite

There are all kinds of ghost towns in Nevada and California. This is one we came across on our way to Death Valley. At one time, Ryolite was a mining town with over 200 building, including a school, a bank, and a general store. It is now not much more than what's in these photos.
