One of the reasons we went to Whistler was to try out the zip-lining. We weren't about to let a little rain ruin our adventure. As it turned out, a good portion of the zip line course is deep in the woods, so we couldn't even feel the rain for the majority of our 1-1/2 hour trek. There were 5 zip lines, with the longest being 2,200 ft. in length. The course zig-zagged over the Fitzimmons Creek and was absolutely beautiful. In this first picture, it is difficult to see, but the last step is a real doozy. You keep walking down the steps until you either run out of steps or run out of slack on the line and then it's off to the next platform.

Here you can see Kelly about half way across the creek.

Campbell never hesitated to be the first one off the platform. Even if our guide was still trying to give us some last-minute pointers. Kelly is attentively listening. How weird is that??

Kelly and our guide making faces for the camera just before Kelly launches herself across the creek yet again.

I think our guide has practiced his scary face!! He really had quite the sense of humour.

Do you think Kelly looks a little disappointed that it's over? Who knows, maybe we'll find another place to zip during our travels.
